Peka‑Pro HT140 (High Temp resistant)

About

Advanced single‑layer Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) for oil and gas pipelines in service up to 130 °C, combining thermal stability, corrosion resistance, and long‑term adhesion performance.

More info from this product

Peka‑Pro HT140 is part of Peka Chemie’s high‑temperature Fusion Bonded Epoxy range, designed for extreme pipeline service where sustained operating temperatures reach up to 130 °C. Whether applied as a stand‑alone coating or as the corrosion barrier layer beneath high‑temperature mechanical protection systems, HT140 delivers reliable performance against corrosion, cathodic disbondment, and mechanical stresses in harsh oil and gas environments.

Key Advantages

  • Thermal stability for continuous service up to 130 °C
  • Excellent corrosion and cathodic disbondment resistance at elevated temperatures
  • Strong adhesion with proven performance in long‑term hot‑water immersion
  • Compatible with high‑temperature dual‑layer (DL‑AR‑HT) protection systems
  • Tested and certified to rigorous CSA and ISO standards

Application Process

  1. Surface preparation: Near‑White Blast (SA 2½, ISO 11124‑3), profile 50–100 μm
  2. Preheat steel to 210–240 °C
  3. Apply first layer (400 ± 50 μm)
  4. (Optional) Apply high‑temperature mechanical top layer for extra durability
  5. Cooling to finalize cure and stabilize coating properties
