Peka‑Pro HT120 (High Temperature Resistant FBE Coating)

About

High‑performance single‑layer Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) for pipelines operating up to 110 °C, delivering superior corrosion, cathodic disbondment, and mechanical resistance under elevated temperature service.

More info from this product

Peka‑Pro HT120 is part of Peka Chemie’s advanced high‑temperature resistant FBE series, engineered to protect oil and gas pipelines operating in demanding thermal environments. With a service temperature capability of up to 110 °C, HT120 maintains excellent adhesion, corrosion resistance, and mechanical performance, whether applied as a stand‑alone coating or as the corrosion‑protection layer in dual‑layer FBE and multilayer polyolefin systems.

Key Advantages

  • Excellent thermal stability up to 110 °C (stand‑alone system)
  • Superior corrosion protection for high‑temperature pipelines
  • Outstanding cathodic disbondment resistance
  • High mechanical strength and impact resistance
  • Compatible with dual‑layer and multilayer systems for extra mechanical protection

Application Process

  1. Surface preparation: Near‑White Blast (SA 2½, ISO 11124‑3), profile 50–100 μm
  2. Preheat steel to 210–240 °C
  3. Apply first layer (400 ± 50 μm)
  4. (Optional) Apply second mechanical layer for extra protection
  5. Cooling phase to complete cure and stabilization
